Dr Zinah Ali is a Consultant Physician specialising in Internal Medicine and Metabolic Medicine, with particular expertise in cardiometabolic disorders, complex diabetes, thyroid disorders, and obesity.
Dr Ali graduated from the University of Babylon – College of Medicine in 2009. She completed her Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 2018 and holds a Fellowship in Internal Medicine (FIBMS). She undertook advanced physician training in Australia across Western Australia and Victoria, after which she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
With more than 10 years of clinical experience across multiple healthcare systems and hospitals in Australia, Dr Ali has managed a broad range of acute and complex medical conditions.
She is currently completing a Master of Medicine (Metabolic Disorders) at the University of Sydney, with advanced training in the management of complex cardiometabolic diseases, diabetes, obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, dyslipidaemia, fatty liver disease, osteoporosis, and thyroid disorders.
